Caesarstone Kitchen Remodeling: The Fort Worth Owner’s Guide
A full Caesarstone kitchen remodel in Fort Worth typically runs $14,000 to $45,000, with countertop-specific work falling between $2,000 and $6,500 depending on slab size, edge profile, and how much demolition the existing layout demands. Most Caesarstone owners call us after a crack appears near the sink cutout, a seam separates, or a chip opens up on a high-traffic edge. The countertop itself rarely fails first. The support underneath it usually does.
We see this in Fort Worth kitchens every month. A cabinet settles, the substrate shifts, and suddenly that 3-centimeter Caesarstone slab has a stress point it was never designed to carry. Quartz is hard, but it’s not flexible. When the framing moves, the stone doesn’t. That’s when you get the hairline crack that starts at the sink corner and runs toward the edge. The fix isn’t a patch job. It’s square framing, a level substrate, and a slab that sits dead flat on its supports. That’s the remodel, not just the countertop swap.
Bradford Remodeling Co Fort Worth is an independent contractor. We don’t manufacture Caesarstone and we’re not a factory warranty center. What we do is order the exact slab you need, fabricate it to fit your existing cabinet run, and install it so the next crack doesn’t happen in eighteen months. Curtis Lane has been reading job sites in Fort Worth long enough to know that most Caesarstone failures are framing failures wearing a stone mask.
Which Caesarstone Models This Applies To

Caesarstone runs two main thicknesses in residential kitchens: 2 centimeters and 3 centimeters. The 2cm slabs get laminated on the edge to look thicker, which means they need a plywood underlayment between the stone and the cabinets. The 3cm slabs sit directly on the cabinet frames and span short distances without extra support. That difference drives most of the compatibility questions we answer around Fort Worth.
The classic Caesarstone lines we work with most often here are the Classico, Supernatural, and Outdoor collections. The Classico series runs colors like Frosty Carrina, Statuario Maximus, and London Grey. The Supernatural line goes for the veined, high-contrast looks. If you don’t have the original slab code, check the underside of the stone near the sink cutout. Fabricators usually mark it there with a grease pencil or a small adhesive tag. You can also measure the thickness at an exposed edge, which settles the 2cm versus 3cm question in about ten seconds.
If your slab is discontinued, you’re not out of luck. Caesarstone cycles colors about every eighteen months, but the common ones stay available for years. We order through the same regional distributors every other Fort Worth fabricator uses, so if a color exists in the Texas supply chain, we can get it. If it’s truly gone, the honest answer is a full slab replacement. Patching quartz that’s out of production means living with a visible seam that won’t match under Fort Worth’s hard afternoon sun.

Signs Your Caesarstone Kitchen Remodeling Is Failing
- Hairline crack radiating from the sink corner. The sink cutout removes the most stone in the smallest area, and that rectangle is where stress concentrates. If the cabinet face below the sink shows any gap at the floor, that corner of the slab is flexing every time someone leans on the counter.
- Seam separation between two slabs. Quartz seams are filled with a color-matched adhesive, but the bond is only as strong as the flatness underneath. A seam that opens even a millimeter means the two cabinet bases are no longer level with each other, usually from floor settlement in Fort Worth’s expansive clay soil.
- Chipping along the front edge, especially near a dishwasher. The dishwasher steam cycle vents heat and moisture directly onto the stone edge. Over years, that cycling weakens the quartz binding at the perimeter. We see this most often on blond colors from the Classico line.
- Countertop lip overhanging an island with no support. Caesarstone’s published maximum unsupported overhang is 10 inches for 2cm and 14 inches for 3cm with proper bracketing. Beyond that, the slab is cantilevered past its moment capacity. Any Fort Worth homeowner with a 12-inch breakfast bar on a 2cm slab has a cracked top waiting on a family gathering.
- Drawers or doors that no longer close square against the cabinet frame. This one gets ignored because it reads as a cabinet problem. It’s not. When the cabinet box twists, the stone sitting on top of it carries that torsion. Straightening the cabinets before you replace the countertop is the difference between a repair and a repeat.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

- Full kitchen remodel with new Caesarstone, cabinetry, backsplash, and fixtures: $14,000 – $45,000
- Countertop-only replacement, including demo, fabrication, and install: $2,000 – $6,500
- Backsplash installation to match new or existing Caesarstone: $800 – $2,500
- Kitchen island with Caesarstone top, new base, and seating overhang: $3,000 – $10,000
The range moves based on four things: slab count, edge profile, sink type, and what we find under the stone. A plain eased edge on one slab runs toward the low end. A mitred waterfall edge on a 10-foot island pushes toward the top. Every quote we write includes demolition, haul-away, substrate repair, fabrication, installation, and a written line-item price before any tool touches the site. No number moves at the door. That’s The Garrison Standard, and it’s been non-negotiable since 2004.
We’re part of the Garrison Partners family, and every completed Caesarstone remodel carries the 365-Day Done Right Promise. If a seam fails, a crack opens, or the stone shifts inside that first year, we come back and correct it at no charge. The promise is in writing, signed, in your hand at final walkthrough.
DIY or Call Us?
You can safely check two things before you pick up the phone. First, lay a four-foot level across the countertop in both directions. If it rocks or shows a gap, the framing below moved. Second, open the cabinet doors under the stone and look for any gap between the cabinet top rail and the stone’s underside. A flashlight in that gap tells you if the slab is floating or sitting.
What you should not do is try to glue a crack, sand out a chip, or shim the stone yourself. Quartz is roughly 90% crushed stone and 10% resin binder. Once a crack opens, the slab’s structural weakness doesn’t close with adhesive. If the stone is under tension, a bad patch will pop out inside a month and take a bigger chip with it. More importantly, a 3cm Caesarstone slab weighs roughly 18 pounds per square foot. A typical kitchen carries 300 to 500 pounds of stone. A dropped slab cracks more than itself. This is not a weekend job, and it’s not a two-person lift.

FAQs

Caesarstone typically lasts 25 to 40 years when the substrate stays flat and the slab is installed to manufacturer spec. The stone itself doesn’t age much. What fails in Fort Worth is what’s under it. Expansive clay soil moves, pier-and-beam floors settle, and the stone cracks before the cabinets show visible damage. Check underneath the slab, not just on top of it.
Small chips on the edge can be filled with a color-matched epoxy and buffed to near invisibility. A full crack that runs from the sink cutout to the front edge cannot be reliably repaired, because the crack means the slab is under structural stress and will keep moving. We’ll tell you which one you have after looking at it. The estimate is free either way. Call (682) 204-4897.
Countertop-only replacement in Fort Worth takes 7 to 10 days from template to install. That includes demolition, precision measurement, fabrication, and a half-day install. A full kitchen remodel with new cabinets and stone runs longer, typically 4 to 8 weeks, because the substrate has to be squared before the slab can go down.
We don’t warehouse slabs on site. We order from the same Texas distribution network every Fort Worth fabricator uses, which means most in-stock colors arrive within 3 to 5 business days. We also work with KraftMaid, Cambria, and Silestone when you want to compare surfaces before committing. The price we quote includes the exact slab you select, and that slab goes on your written order before anything gets cut.
