CWS Roofing: The Fort Worth Owner’s Guide
We stock and install CWS-compatible roofing parts in Fort Worth at $400 to $2,500 installed, depending on what failed and how much decking or flashing has to come with it. Most CWS roofing failures we see show up as a leak during a hard north Texas storm, loose or missing shingles after high wind, or visible sagging at the eaves. If you know the part and just want it matched, call (682) 204-4897 and we’ll price it before the truck rolls.
Bradford Remodeling Co Fort Worth is an independent service provider. We’re not affiliated with CWS, but we work on their systems often enough to know how they’re put together and what usually fails first in Fort Worth’s climate.
Which CWS Models This Applies To

CWS roofing systems run across several shingle and metal lines, and the compatibility gotcha is fastener pattern. Some CWS panels use a 9-inch rib spacing on metal, while earlier production runs used 12-inch centers, and if you order the wrong panel the screw lines won’t land on the purlins. Before we quote, we pull one panel or lift one shingle course to check spacing and gauge.
For shingle systems, identify the part by the stamp on the underside of any loose shingle, or match the granule color against a sample taken near the ridge where UV fading is worst. OEM CWS components are the safest match, but quality aftermarket equivalents from GAF and CertainTeed roof stocks run 10 to 20 percent under OEM pricing for comparable spec. We stock both, and we’ll tell you which is the better spend for the remaining lifespan of your roof.
Styles & brands we work with

Signs Your CWS Roofing Is Failing
- Water staining at ceiling corners or around vents. This usually tracks to failed pipe flashing or a cracked vent boot, not the shingles themselves. The boot dry-rots in Fort Worth heat in about eight years.
- Granules collecting in gutters. Some granule loss is normal, but a steady accumulation means the shingle surface is degrading faster than it should. On CWS asphalt shingles we often see this accelerate after year 12 under Texas sun.
- Loose or lifted shingles after a storm. The nail strip tears out when the sealant bond fails. If more than a few shingles are loose in one field, the roof deck is taking on water and the substrate under those shingles is likely soft.
- Sagging at the eave or between rafters. This is a decking failure, often from long-term moisture intrusion that never showed itself as a visible leak. It’s the most expensive CWS repair because it means pulling the section, replacing decking, and re-roofing over it.
- Rust streaks below metal panels. On CWS metal roofing, rust at the fastener heads means the screws lost their neoprene washers to UV and heat. Once the fastener seals fail, every rain event pushes water through the screw holes.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

Fort Worth pricing for CWS roof work runs on a clear range. Roof repair on a small, isolated failure runs $400 to $1,800 depending on access and the number of shingles or metal panels involved. Tile roof repair on CWS tile systems runs $600 to $2,500, and the spread comes from tile availability and whether the underlayment under the tile is still sound. Full roof replacement runs $8,000 to $20,000. Metal roof installation runs $15,000 to $40,000.
Every quote includes parts, labor, disposal, and a written line-item scope before work starts. There are no numbers that move at the door. We pull Fort Worth permits where the job requires them, and every completed repair carries the 365-Day Done Right Promise: if our work fails within a year, we return and correct it at no charge.
DIY or Call Us?
If you’re comfortable on a ladder, you can check what you can see: loose shingles, cracked flashing, rusted fastener heads, granule buildup. That’s useful information when you call. What you shouldn’t do is pull shingles or panels on a CWS roof, because once you break the seal or the screw pattern, you’ve changed the water-shedding plane and any mistake becomes a leak inside forty-eight hours.
Roof work is not a place to learn as you go. Falls from roof height are the leading killer in residential construction, and roof edges in Fort Worth get slick with pollen and morning condensation most of the year. If the failure is at the eaves, on a steep pitch, or anywhere near skylights or valleys, call us at (682) 204-4897 and let our crew handle it. Straight scope, firm price, no surprises at final walkthrough.
FAQs

In Fort Worth’s heat and hail, a CWS asphalt shingle roof typically lasts 12 to 18 years before you’re chasing repairs annually, while CWS metal systems can run 30 to 40 years with fastener maintenance. Our own repair work is covered for one full year under the 365-Day Done Right Promise. Call (682) 204-4897 if you want an honest read on how many years your specific roof has left.
Sometimes, if the damage is isolated and the surrounding material is still sound. A flashing boot or a handful of shingles is a repair; a failing deck section or rusted fastener field usually means replacement. We’ll show you which one applies and why before you spend a dollar.
Most CWS roofing repairs in Fort Worth are done in a single day, including cleanup. Larger section replacements can run two to three days depending on decking condition and weather. We give you a written timeframe in the quote, and we hold to it.
We keep common CWS-compatible shingles, metal panels, flashing boots, and fasteners on the truck, along with GAF and CertainTeed equivalents. If you have a CWS part number or a sample we can match, call (682) 204-4897 and we can usually confirm availability the same day. Estimates are free.
